Description

Thinstall has an immediate need for someone with great Windows trouble-shooting skills who has a strong understanding of many Windows technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

  •  Analyze problems found by our testing department and customers
  •  Diagnose the source of issues
  •  Develop solutions for resolving the problem
  • Directly interface with customer to set expectations and deliver quality support

Requirements

  • Worked in large enterprise Windows Environments
  • Previously held Windows IT Administrator managing at least 100 desktops
  • Experience using a wide range of Microsoft technologies including Windows 2k/xp/vista/terminal server, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with a ESD system such as SMS, Tivoli, LANDesk, Altiris.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve low level windows issues using tools such as the Windows Debugger, Regmon, and Filemon.
  • Some development experience with C++, .NET, and VB Script
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
